My parents always have an abundance of fruit at their house (compared to mine) so I tend to paint most of my still life paintings while there. This is arrangement has mangoes, apples, peaches, maybe oranges and do I see a tennis ball in there? 🙂
This lovely scene was hard NOT to paint. I like how the shiny rinds of the lemons turned out, especially against the sheen of the ceramic bowl (shaped and painted to look like a large lettuce leaf). Geraniums are always a favorite as well.
