This is done early on in my first drawing class back almost 9 years ago. It was the first time I took a formal art class (a once-a-week course designed for adults), despite my whole childhood spent drawing and painting as a hobby. It was hard to unlearn some of the bad habits I had developed over time but so worth the effort!

Dear Lut, Beautiful new pencil drawing. Sounds like you have finally got some free time of your own. Marvelous! Love, Mom
Thanks, Mom! However, I did this drawing in 2008 so it isn’t new by any means. 🙂 but at least I have been making progress organizing and uploading my existing artwork.
Yes, Letizia, it’s great to organize existing work (yes, that’s excellent work for a “beginner”!). I’m doing that now with my papers. May the Lord helps us take stock and move on according to the leading of his Spirit! I look forward to seeing your new work as He gives you the time and inspiration!
Thanks, Dad! I am glad you are now going through your papers perhaps getting ideas for what comes next. Thanks for your encouragement. Love, Lut
